Crate and Barrel Aspen Dinnerware - I fell in love with this dinnerware during my babysitting years. The Silbermans were heavy investors in the clean white lines of the Aspen Dinnerware line. My favorite piece of the set is the blows. They're deep with high edges, so no spilling. Perfect for when you construct your cereal in the kitchen and transport it elsewhere, like the coffee table.

Food looks best on white plates. Fact. I completely regret ever investing in non-white plates. I bought a whole set of black matte plates in college from Ikea...and you never throw out plates, they're too functional. Wonder what the resale value of used black matte Ikea plates are...
